Sherrold Haddad is a strong supporter of Surrey Memorial Hospital. He was a key leader in raising over $10 million dollars for the Children's Health Centre that opened in 2001. The Children’s Health Centre now sees thousands of pediatric patients each year, providing care for cancer, diabetes, asthma, heart ailments and other illnesses. In 2008, the Family Birthing Unit delivered close to 4,200 newborns – the second most births of any hospital in the province.

Sherrold is also currently playing a key leadership role in the Foundation’s Emergency Centre Campaign by pledging $100,000 towards the replacement to Surrey Memorial Hospital’s current Emergency Department.
